The problem is not Helvetica itself, but Helvetica Type 1 font format on win7. removing the type 1 format and reinstalling a helvetica open type face worked for me

I also found the same problem with a beta release of IE9 a few months ago, and was horrified to see that the released version which came out this week also failed to render the helvetica font, and indeed anything contained within tags which have helvetica associated with them. If it helps you, the helvetica font I have installed on my machine is a .pfm file. The file contains no version number. It affects IE9 on both Vista and Windows 7.
Like yourselves, I corrected it on our website http://www.caslte-caretech.com by moving helvetica so that it was not the first font in the list.
Hope Microsoft sort this out soon.

When I read the email from ukphonebook I (like Andy) thought 83p per second!!! But actually, .83p per second is a really good deal and if you call from an Orange mobile, 118365 is even cheaper.

Firstly, I apologise if you received the email in error. You should only have received it if you are registered with ukphonebook.com and you can unsubscribe from these emails at any time. The purpose of these emails is not to spam our customers but simply to keep them informed of any developments or offers they may find interesting.

Secondly, the small print on the email states that a call to 118 365 costs 0.83 pence a second after the first minute not 83 pence. It seems that you may have misread it.

I’ve just received a spam mail about this service and the not so small prints says after a minute it’s 83 pence A SECOND?!?!?!? that’s £49 pound for a second minute, surely this is an error

To search for telephone numbers and addresses you can use the phone numbers search option. Simply type in the name of the person you are looking for in the name box and then enter their location e.g. York in the location box and click “find this person”. Select the relevant entry from the results list and you will be able to see the telephone number (if listed), address and a map. You must ensure you have enough search credits to perform the search. If you have run out of your free daily credits, you can purchase more by clicking on “my account”.
